Peter Smith has been a consciousness explorer for almost 30 years.
He served for over two decades with one of Australia’s leading Banks, before starting his own Change Management consultancy focussing on values driven organisational transformations across Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom.
Peter undertook post graduate studies at the Australian Graduate School of Management at the University of NSW,
He left a promising career as a banking executive to chase his dreams and follow the call of his soul.
He started originally by exploring some of his own past lives, before being trained as a Hypnotherapist and taking clients on journeys, transcending time and space.
Over time he founded two Hypnotherapy Schools, the modality of Hypnoenergetics and became president of the Michael Newton Institute for Life Between Lives (MNI) from 2009 to 2019. He now serves on the MNI Advisory Council leading the 'LBL & Beyond' program, evolving the organisation to make an even greater contribution to the consciousness of humanity. Peter was awarded the Peggy Newton award for outstanding service to MNI in 2013 by Michael himself, and has trained LBL Practitioners and Teachers in different parts of the world since 2006. He speaks regularly at various conferences, on radio programs and has participated in a number of documentaries both in Australia and overseas.
In 2013, Pete founded the Institute for Quantum Consciousness to blend spirituality with key principles of Quantum Physics. He has built a network of facilitators all around the world who take clients on journeys to show them their magnificence, transcend old therapeutic systems and visit other realities and dimensions.
Pete is determined to blaze new trails for others to follow. His books embrace many of the ideas and concepts that he has researched, taught and offered to his clients over his metaphysical career. Previous published works include Hypnoenergetics – The Four Dimensions (Barker-Deane 2011) and Quantum Consciousness – Journey through other realms (Llewellyn Publishing 2018). The Transcendence of Celeste Kelly (Alkira Publishing 2023) is his first novel.
Pete has written around 20 forewords for non-fiction books in the consciousness genre and is a sought after speaker in his chosen field. He has had short stories and poems published and written articles for Nexus Magazine and the Journal of Humanistic Psychology and has a regular column in MNI's quartlery journal, Stories of the Afterlife.
On a personal note, Pete is a loving parent and grandparent and spends reflection time on the coastline near his home in Port Stephens Region of NSW, Australia.
He enjoys 80's rock, watching the sports he once played, riding in his jeep with the top off and in 2022 won the People's Choice Award performing a humorous poem, at the Bellingen Readers and Writers Festival.
